THE SHORTCUT: VERSED OVERNIGHT FACIAL PEEL REVIEW

This year marked a change in my selfcare routine, cause 2019 was the year I really got into skincare, like, reaaaallyyyy into skincare, 2019 was the year where I developed an actual skincare routine and bought A LOT of different products to try, one of those was The Shortcut, an Overnight Facial Peel by the brand Versed and to be honest, out of all the skincare I got this year this was one of my favorites.

This is the shortcut to glowier skin. In one step, this peel works overnight while you’re far away in dreamland to resurface and renew your complexion. The blend of lactic and glycolic acid (which work together to break down dead skin cells) and vitamin A (one of the most powerful and proven anti-aging ingredients available) exfoliates, brightens, and hydrates while skin-conditioning allantoin, rosehip, and vitamin E keep skin calm. It’s pH-balanced, non-drying, and non-irritating—basically it’s a non-scary peel that won’t leave you red or flaky (just bright and refreshed). It’s even gentle enough to use on back-to-back nights, and it absorbs into your skin just like a lotion, residue-free so your pillows are safe too.

Este año marcó un cambio en mi rutina de selfcare, porque 2019 fue el año en el que me interesé mucho por el skincare, mucho, 2019 fue el año en el que cree una rutina de skincare verdadera y compré un montón de diferentes productos que probar, uno de ellos fue The Shortcut, un peeling facial que funciona durante la noche de la marca Verse y siendo honesta, de todo el skincare que compré este año, este producto fue uno de mis favoritos.

El producto funciona durante la noche para renovar tu piel. Es una mezcla de ácido láctico y glicólico (que trabajan juntos para deshacer las células muertas) y vitamina A (uno de los agentes anti-envejecimiento más poderosos y probados en el mercado) que exfolia, abrillanta e hidrata mientras allantoina, rosehip y vitamina E calman la piel. El producto tiene un pH balanceado, que no reseca, no irrita, básicamente es un peeling sin miedo que no te dejará con la piel descarapelada o enrojecida, (solo luminosa y refrescada). Es lo suficientemente suave como para usarlo varias noches seguidas y se absorbe en la piel como una crema, por lo que tus sábanas están seguras.

I’ve been using this product for the past three months, I use it twice a week, and I’ve seen such good results, on the mornings after I’ve used it my skin feels the softest and it looks so bright and luminous, I love how soft it is on my skin and that it’s making my skin look healthier, I’ve compared to the AHA + BHA 10 minute peeling by The Ordinary and I definitely like this one better, plus it is less aggressive on my skin.

He estado usando este producto durante los últimos 3 meses, lo uso dos veces a la semana y he visto resultados buenísimos, las mañanas después de que lo he usado mi piel se siente super suave y se ve tan luminosa, amo lo suave que es con mi piel y está haciendo que mi piel se vea más saludable, lo he comparado con el peeeling de 10 minutos de The Ordinary y definitivmente este me gusta más, además que es menos agresivo con mi piel.

This is a product that I think is worth every buck, I love that you can find it in two different sizes, and I think this is something that I’ll be re-purchasing over and over as it is so good, I also love that this brand is a clean skincare brand free of bad chemicals like parabens, so I can use it with the confidence that what I’m putting on my skin won’t be bad for it in the long run.

Este es un producto que creo que vale cada centavo, y amo que puedes encontrarlo en dos tamaños diferentes, y creo también que es un producto que volveré a comprar en el futuro porque en verdad es un producto tan bueno, además amo que es una marca limpia de productos para la piel, o sea, libre de químicos malos como los parabenos, así que lo puedo usar con la confianza de que lo que estoy poniéndome en mi cara no es nada tóxico ni dañino para mi piel.
