Hola hola! Hoy empezaremos desde abajo, y con ésto quiero decir que empezaremos con los pantalones, aquí encontrarás mi lista de los 6 pares de pantalones que necesitas en tu guardarropa. Así que presta atención y sigue leyendo.

JEANS

BOOTCUT DARK WASH JEANS

These are the most classic of the three, you can dress them up or down, depends on the event, but a few ideas include: pairing them with a tucked shirt leaving a few buttons undone and strappy sandals for a sexy look, you can pair it with a white tee and an oversized coat or waistcoat and boots for fall, or you can wear some strappy lace-up sandals and a boho top for a more relaxed vibe. And if you’re out of ideas you can always type “bootcut jeans outfit ideas” on google, or something along those lines.

Éstos son los más clásicos de los tres, los puedes hacer más formalones o casuales dependiendo del evento y con qué los combines, algunas ideas: con una camisa fajada, dejando algunos botones abiertos y sandalias de tacón para un look muy sexy, con una playera blanca, botas y un abrigo o chaleco oversize para un look de otoño, o con un top más hippioso y sandalias gladiadoras para un look más relajado. SKINNY JEANS DARK WASH

I think these are the most popular in the jeans dpt. you can wear them with heels, a loose fitting top and a blazer and dress them up, you can go athleisure on them and pair them with a basic t-shirt and sneakers, or you can wear them with a shirt that’s half tucked and loafers or flats for a more preppy look, if it’s chilly a long cardigan is always a good idea. And remember, PINTEREST is a good source for ideas!

Creo que éstos son los más populares en el departamento de jeans, los puedes usar con tacones, un top flojito y un blazer y hacerlos un poquito formales, o puedes entrarle a la tendencia del athleisure y usar una playera básica y tus tenis favoritos, y usarlos con una camisa medio fajada y mocasines o flats para un look más fresón siempre es una buena idea y si hace un poquito de frío, un cardigan más larguito siempre le ayuda al look. Y recuerda, PINTEREST siempre es una buena fuente de ideas.

BOYFRIEND JEANS

These are probably my favourite lately, they’re super comfy and I can think of so many ways to style them, they can be athleisurely paired with a sports bra, a bomber and sneakers, they can be tomboy-ish like in the above picture with slip ons and a tucked in oxford shirt, they can be part of the perfect canadian tuxedo with a chambray/denim shirt and heels, or super girly with a flowy satin top and delicate heels, there’s just so many possibilities, don’t believe me? Just take a look.

Éstos son probablemente mis favoritos últimamente, son súper cómodos y se me ocurren miles de maneras para usarlos, pueden tener un look de athleisure con un sports bra, una chaqueta tipo bomber y tenis, pueden verse más masculinos como en la imagen de arriba con una camisa y tenis tipo slip-on, puedes armar un smoking canadiense padrísimo con unos de estos y una camisa de mezclilla o chambray (atrévete a usar un look completo de mezclilla se ven padrísimos) o puedes hacerlos súper femeninos con un top delicado y holgado de satín y unos tacones muy sencillos, hay muchísimas posibilidades, ¿no me crees? Sólo echa un vistazo.

TROUSERS

CHINOS

These are a classic, they’re mostly known because of their Ivy League look origins, but there’s more than the preppy way to style them, you could pair them with some oxfords, a shirt and a cardigan if you’re a fan of that preppy polished look, or maybe if they’re high waisted with a baggy feminine crop top and some pointy heels, and if you want a more edgy look I’d wear them with a peplum top and a biker or bomber jacket.

Éstos son clásicos, son los más conocidos por su popularidad en el look Ivy League, pero hay más maneras de usarlos que ese look fresón, con oxfords, una camisa y un cárdigan puedes tener ese look muy preppy y limpio, si los usas con un crop top flojito y tacones de punta se pueden ver más femeninos, si quieres algo más moderno puedes ponértelos con una blusa peplum y una chaqueta bomber o biker.

DRESS PANTS

These are super dressy and workplace appropriate, but I think they can be dressed down and made look extra cool, just take a look at Kate Lanphear’s outfits to get a little bit inspired, in case you go with black, but of course you can get them in navy or gray or whatever, if your style is less monochromatic and more colorful I suggest you look to Jenna Lyons for inspiraton. A basic outfit you can build with these kind of pants would be a white button up, I’d button it all the way up, some really pointy heels and a blazer, add a bright lip and you’re ready to go!

WIDE LEG PANTS

What’s cool about these is that you can get them in a wide variety of materials and you can play a lot with lenghts and layering, they also look amazing with heels especially if you can’t really see the heels underneath, and depending on the material they can work for different seasons. My favourite wide leg pants include, half tucked shirts, oversized tshirt, fitted top, boho chic inspired top. You can wear them with heels, flats, flat sandals or brogues, this will also depend on the season.

Lo que está súper padre de éste estilo de pantalón es que los hay en una gran variedad de materiales y es muy divertido usarlos ya que se prestan para jugar con el layering y la longitud de éstas capas, también se ven súper cool si los usas con tacones y quedan cubiertos por el pantalón al ras del suelo, será dependiendo del material que elijas las temporadas para las que los puedes usar, pero si te vuelves experta en esto de las capas podrías salirte con la tuya y usarlos durante todo el año. Mis looks favoritos con ellos incluyen con camisas a medio fajar, una playera oversized, un top más ajustado, un top más hippioso. Los puedes usar con tacones, flats, sandalias de piso o brogues, ésto también ya dependerá de la temporada.
