EMBRACE MESSY HAIR

There is something absolutely amazing about living a day with messy hair, isn’t there? I just think it gives you this understated cool vibe, long gone are the days of perfectly polished and coiffed hair. Cause being honest, ain’t nobody got time for that! 

I think we can all agree that we’d rather spend another 10 minutes in bed than having perfect hair that’ll only get ruined by the rain eventually, in an age where women are foregoing make up more than ever before, messy hair just adds to our stylish sneaker clad outfits.

Comfort is everything these days.

Hay algo increíble en vivir un día con el cabello despeinado, ¿a poco no? Creo que te da esa vibra cool cero pretenciosa, los días del cabello súper arreglado y peinado por horas se han ido. Porque siendo honestas, ¡nadie tiene tiempo para eso!

Creo que todas podemos coincidir en que preferiríamos pasar 10 minutos en la cama a tener cabello perfecto que sólo acabará arruinándose con la lluvia eventualmente, en una época donde las mujeres están descartando el maquillaje más que nunca antes, el cabello revuelto sólo le añade a nuestros estilosos outfits con tenis.

La comodidad lo es todo en ésta época.

So yeah, millennial women are probably ruining the hair and beauty industry, but at this point, it’s just another industry to add to the pile of the ones we’ve allegedly ruined since the millennial term became so embedded in our vocabulary.

I say 2017 be the year we embrace messy hair and make up-less looks because c’mon, we all look way better than the boys do, and anything they can do, we can do better.

Así que las  mujeres millennial probablemente estamos arruinando la industria de productos para el cabello y el maquillaje, pero a éstas alturas, sólo añade al montón de las que ya destruimos supuestamente desde que el término se volvió tan acuñado en nuestro vocabulario.

Yo opino que el 2017 sea el año donde tomemos control del cabello despeinado y los looks sin maquillaje, porque vamos, todas nos vemos mejor así de lo que se ven ellos, y cualquier cosa que ellos hagan, nosotros podemos hacerlo mejor.

So anyway, this is what I wore, a plaid over-sized coat with 3/4 sleeves and hightop sneakers that I got from ROSEWHOLESALE (yep, they’re sponsoring this post in case you’re wondering), I really liked the coat, it’s pretty thick and heavy, super warm, and an eye-catcher. The sneakers are super cool, they’re a bit on the smaller size, so if you like roomy shoes I’d definitely go a size up.

Como sea, ésto es lo que usé, un abrigo a cuadros con mangas 3/4 y tenis tipo hightop que me mandaron de ROSEWHOLESALE (sí, están patrocinando éste post por si te lo preguntabas), en verdad me gustó el abrigo, el material está super grueso y pesado, es muy calentito y atrae mucho la atención. Los tenis están super cool, vienen un poco reducidos, así que si eres de las que gustan de los zapatos amplios, yo elegiría una talla arriba de lo normal.

Jeans are by Old Navy, the Rockstar ones, I’ve had them for a couple of years now and they’re as good as new, I really like these from them.

Basic V Neck from ZARA that I actually got last sale season, it’s super soft and on the bigger size, I love its shade of gray.

Los jeans son de Old Navy, el modelo Rockstar, los he tenido desde hace unos años y están como nuevos, me encanta éste modelo.

La playera básica de ZARA que compré en rebajas la última temporada, está super suavecita y grande, adoro el tono de gris.
