Hey there! ✌🏻️ it appears that we’re having a bit of an Indian summer this year, yesterday was hot out and this allowed me to get away with this outfit, as you may remember from previous posts, my friends from SAMMYDRESS asked me to pick some stuff to try out from their site, and somehow one of the packages 📦 got held up at customs and I just got it about a week and a half ago, and the weather hadn’t been as forgiving for me to wear these shorts, but this weekend was a bit warmer so I thought it was the perfect moment to take them out for a spin, pairing them with a light v neck sweater as a top; on said package I also got a twin set, I wish I could show it to you guys, I really do, but unfortunately I was kind of bummed out about the fact that a) the sizing was not really accurate, I’m usually a medium size, and even though I ordered an XL according to their charts the top was way too small and I just looked ridiculous in it b) the set looked nothing like the one on their site and c) the material was all wrong, it’s really stiff and it doesn’t help the garment’s fit.

¡Hola! ✌🏻️ parece ser que estamos teniendo un verano Indio éste año (así se dice cuando los días de calor de verano se prolongan hasta el otoño) ayer hizo bastante calor lo que me permitió salirme con la mía y usar éste outfit, como recordarás de posts anteriores, mis amigos de SAMMYDRESS me pidieran que eligiera algunas cosas de su tienda para probarlas, pero de algún modo, uno de los paquetes 📦 estuvo retenido por siempre en la aduana, y me llegó apenas hace como semana y media, y la verdad es que a éstas alturas el clima ya no me dejaba usar éstos shorts, pero éste finde el clima ha estado un poco más cálido (bastante cálido a decir verdad) y fue el momento para estrenarlos, los combiné con un suéter delgado de cuello V, porque en las noches ha estado haciendo un poco de fresco; en dicho paquete también venía un conjunto, desearía poder enseñártelo, de verdad, pero desafortunadamente algo que me desanimó fue que a) el tallaje no es nada apegado a lo que decían sus tablas de medidas, normalmente soy talla M, pero como en el sitio decía que las tallas venían algo reducidas ordené una XL según las medidas proporcionadas, aún así el top está demasiado pequeño y me veía ridícula en él, b) el conjunto no se veía para nada como el del sitio ya que lo tuve en la vida real, y c) el material estaba muy feo, muy tieso y no ayudaba al fit de la prenda.

I just want to be honest with you my readers and I’m not just gonna promote a piece that doesn’t live up to the expectations,  cause I’d be lying to you, so that’s why that second outfit isn’t gonna be on the blog, I need to put my work ethics first. Now, these shorts are what I expected, I guess it was just bad luck with the twinset, but I need to let you know that they have some good pieces and others that just aren’t worth it.

La verdad es que quiero ser honesta contigo, no voy a promocionar una pieza que no cumple con mis expectativas, quiero mantener la calidad de mis posts, y te estaría mintiendo, así que es por eso que ese segundo outfit no aparecerá en el blog, mi ética de trabajo va primero. De éstos shorts no hay queja, son todo lo que esperaba, quizá fue mala suerte lo del conjunto, pero necesito decirlo, y debes saber que así como hay buenas prendas, hay otras que no valen la pena.
