Hi there! Happy friday! Being a blogger and especially a fashion blogger always brings up questions and is a conversation starter with people who aren’t that familiar with this line of work, what do you do? do you get paid to do that? how do you make money from that? and one that I get asked a lot, do you feel shy when taking pictures out in public? Well, today I want to address that one in specific.

¡Hola! ¡Bonito viernes!

The answer is yes, I do feel shy sometimes, especially when doing so in a really crowded area or when you run into very vocal people about what you’re doing, but for the most part I’m okay with it and I’ve overcome that shyness, now I will just pretend that I’m all alone when people stop and stare, some will say hi and wave, some will say something that makes me laugh, but I’ve come to realize 90% of the people don’t care or are too preocupied with other things to notice, so now I just pose and have fun like nobody’s watching, I’ve realized that my self confidence has grown in that regard, and you’ve no idea how happy that makes me.

So, fellow bloggers, how do you feel about this? Do you feel shy or not care at all? People, what do you think/do when/if you see someone taking pictures like this on the street? Please share with me! 🙂

  1. Love this! And I love your outfit! Sometimes I get self conscious, but I usually don’t care. and I find that many people don’t care either. Those that do or are judgmental are not worth my time to dwell on what they might think. Keep up the great work beauty! <3

  2. I love the grandpa who photobombed in the first pic haha Personally i’m too shy to take pictures on the streets, I would feel super awkward if people stare etc But it’s stupid cause like you said most people are minding their own business anyway 🙂

    1. hahaha he’s the best! it’s not stupid, we all feel shy at the beggining! Just keep trying I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it 🙂

  3. this is such a great work Mz Daniella , love the outfit and your choice of street!!

    1. I’m sure it will get better! 🙂 Keep up the good work! 🙂

  5. I get more shy when I’m doing it alone. Usually my husband will shoot the pictures for me, in those occasions I have no qualms. But when I am alone I use a tripod, so there is a bit of setting up and such so it makes it more awkward. I just push through it though! <3

    1. I think that’s pretty much it, just pushing through and you eventually start feeling better about it 🙂

  6. Guapísima ♥️♥️♥️♥️me encanta!!!!!! Buenas noches cielo😴😍😍😍😍😍 muchos besitos y buen finnde semana bonita mía!!

  7. I definitely used to feel shy taking pictures in public, especially in open areas like the street but, now I don’t feel so shy doing that. I definitely ignore the people around me staring and just focus. I agree when we learn to do that our confidence does grow.

  8. I think once you become completely comfortable in your skin, you care very little about what other people have to say. Now, of course it does come with a lot of practice and courage.

    1. hahaha yes, that’s completely true, I’m getting there, slowly but I’m getting there 🙂

  9. I feel freaking shy , idk why but i really do .

  11. I use to be so shy about taking pictures in public! I slowly just got used to it and now I kind of love it. After all, why should I care if some strange thinks I’m weird? Might as well embrace it! 🙂

  12. I don’t mind too much! Like you said, most people are preoccupied doing whatever they’re doing so don’t tend to pay much attention – my other half gets more embarrassed by it than me 😂 ❤️www.thefashionfauxpasofgabrielle.com

  13. I definitely feel shy about shooting in the street! Even tho I’ve been trying to become more confident regarding this, it’s definitely still in the works…

    1. It takes time, that I can tell you, and it’s part of working on our confidence and self love, but I’ really sure you’ll get there soon enough 🙂
