TRACK PANTS: HOW TO STYLE THEM

Can someone please tell me how to get over these amazing boots? I can’t seem to take them off, I just like them so much!  Does this happen to you as well? Cause I’m like that all the time! (Cue black loafer mules)

So anyway, this weekend I decided to go full on athleisure and this is what I came up with, what do you think, yay or nay? Are you a fan of this trend or never in life? I just find it so comfy!

Also, if you’ve been paying attention I starte posting only once a week, cause I thought that’d be better but I’m not quite sure anymore, can you please help me? Would you like it if I went to my thrice a week posting schedule or is this once a week thing better? Please let me know in the comments!

Alguien que por fa me diga ¿cómo superar éstas increíbles botas? Porque la verdad es que no me las quiero quitar ¡me encantan! ¿A ustedes les pasa? Porque a mí toooda la vida me pasa lo mismo, como con mis mules negros.

Bueno, pues les cuento que éste fin decidí ponerme en mood athleisure y armé éste look ¿qué opinan¡ ¿son fans de esta tendencia o jamás en la vida? A mi lo que me encanta es que es súper cómoda.

Otra cosa, si han estado prestando atención comencé a publicar una sola vez a la semana, porque pensé que estaría mejor, pero ya no estoy segura ¿me ayudan? ¿Les gustaría que vuelva a publicar tres veces a la semana, o sólo una? Por fa denme su opinión en los comentarios.

VINTAGE TEES: A MUST IN EVERY CLOSET

“That t-shirt is new and it looks so old already” said my mom as I put on this David Bowie t-shirt on “well, that’s the idea…” I said. For the last couple of years vintage band t-shirts have become a must have and a basic piece in everybody’s closet, they’ve become a highly demanded item at vintage and thrift stores, with some pieces retailing for hundreds of dollars, and it’s that there’s something that is really especial about them, I don’t know if it’s the story behind them, the softness of the worn out cotton fabric after hundreds of washes or the cool factor they can add to any outfit.

Fast fashion couldn’t stay behind on this trend so we now have tons of revival designs hanging on the racks at Zara, H&M and Forever 21 (to mention a few); brand new t-shirts that were given tons of treatments so they would get that worn and lived in look, but the truth is, you can’t beat an origina vintage tee.

“Esa playera es nueva y se ve vieja” dijo mi mamá mientras yo me ponía ésta playera de David Bowie “esa es la idea…” le respondí. En los últimos años las playeras vintage con motivos de bandas musicales se han vuelto una pieza clave en el guardarropa de todos, se han vuelto un artículo con alta demanda en las tiendas vintage, con algunas piezas vendiéndose por cientos de dólares, y es que hay algo acerca de ellas que es muy especial, no sé si sea su historia, la suavidad del algodón después de cientos de lavadas o el factor cool que le dan a cualquier outfit.

La moda rápida no se podía quedar atrás con ésta tendencia por lo que ahora tenemos montones de diseños del tipo colgando en los racks de Zara, H&M y Forever 21, por mencionar algunos; playeras nuevas que han pasado por cientos de procesos para obtener esa apariencia usada y desgastada, pero la verdad es que, no puedes ganarle a una playera vintage.

I’m not really into sports, but ever since I saw this amazing vintage bomber my boyfriend’s got I just knew I had to borrow it sometime, he lent it to me the other night cause he thought it was too cold outside for me to be wearing just a light cardigan, and that’s when I seized the oportunity to shoot an outfit with it, especially now that silky bombers are so in. And guess what? Those jeans I’m wearing, they’re my favourites, I’ve had them like for seven years now, and the other day they ripped at the knee, I was horrified, then I told my grandma about it, and she asked me what was I expecting after wearing them for so long, but what do you do when your favorite pair of boyfriend jeans rips at the knee? You keep on wearing them of course! Until they’re no longer wearable, so these might still be rotating in my wardrobe this season, I love you jeans.

No soy muy aficionada a los deportes, pero desde la primera vez que vi ésta increible bomber vintage que tiene mi novio supe que tenía que tomarla prestada en algún momento, me la prestó la otra noche que pensó que hacía mucho frío afuera para que yo sólo tuviera encima un cárdigan delgadito, así que ahí encontré la oportunidad perfecta para armar un outfit con ella, en especial ahora que las bombers satinadas están tan de moda. Y ¿adivina qué? Esos jeans son mis favoritos, los he tenido como por siete años, y el otro día se rompieron en la rodilla, estaba horrorizada, luego le dije a mi abuelita y me preguntó que qué esperaba después de tenerlos tatos años, pero ¿qué haces cuando tus boyfriend jeans favoritos se razgan en la rodilla? ¡Los sigues usando, obviamente! Hasta que ya no sea posible usarlos más, así que al menos ésta temporada seguirán en mi guardarropa, los amo jeans.
