FEBRUARY LOOKS WITH FEMME LUXE
As you know I’ve been in a partnership with FemmeLuxe for a couple of months now, today I want to share with you 3 looks I created with some dresses I ordered, but before I want to disclaim, I ordered a size L on all of these items and they were way too short for me at 5’7″, so make sure you take into account when ordering this type of dresses from them.
ON DEFENSE OF NOT WEARING ANY PANTS
OMG! She’s not wearing any pants!
That’s right babies! I’m not. So, you’ll see, I’ve been giving this outfit and these kind of looks a lot of thought and the thing is, I don’t think they’re very well viewed, so today I thought I’d tell you why these pantless looks should be welcome with arms wide open and I’m totally making my case.
¡Oh! ¡No está usando pantalones!
¡Así es bebés! No tengo pantalones. Verán, he estado pensando demasiado en éste tipo de looks, y lo que sucede es, no creo que sean muy bien vistos, así que hoy pensé en decirles porqué deberíamos amar éstos looks y darles la bienvenida con los brazos abiertos.
I will make the case for these looks in one simple statement: It’s freaking hot outside.
Okay, aquí mi razón a favor de éstos looks: hace mucho calor.
Now, about this look, the dress, watch, necklace and lipstick shade (#13 from Korean brand Eyeberry) are a gift from Rosegal, I’d worn them separately on other looks, but I finally was brave enough to go out and shoot this the way I’d envisioned it, so yeah, what do you think? Would you dare wear something like this?

GOING TO GREAT LENGHTS WITH SAMMYDRESS
Hey there! Today I want to share a post that’s very especial for me, not only have I partnered again with SammyDress, but also I got to work with a talented dear friend for these pictures, so keep on reading to find out more about this.
¡Hola! Hoy quiero compartirte éste post que me es muy especial, no sólo me he unido una vez más con SammyDress, sino que también pude colaborar con un querido y talentoso amigo para éstas fotos, así que sigue leyendo para enterarte más.
I got this dress from my friends at SammyDress (shoutout to Dodo!), it’s not my usual style, but I said why not? and decided I’d give it a shot, I actually have a few more ideas on how to style it, so expect to see them on future posts, especially once spring hits, the shoes and sunglasses (that you’ve already seen on other posts) are also from them, the shoes are so comfy and I’ll be wearing them a lot I predict, the sunglasses, well, they’re my current favorites as well as my pink mirrored ones also from SammyDress.
Mis amigos de SammyDress (¡hola Dodo!) me mandaron éste vestido, no es mi estilo usual, pero pensé que lo intentaría, de hecho ya se me han ocurrido un par más de ideas sobre cómo usarlo, así que quizá lo verás en algún otro post, sobre todo ya que llegue la primavera, los zapatos y las gafas (que ya te había enseñado en otros posts) también son de ellos, los zapatos no sabes, mega cómodos con ese tacón ancho y las gafas la verdad es que se han vuelto mis favoritas junto con las rosas de espejo que también son de SammyDress.
Now, like I said at the beggining of this post, I worked with a photographer friend of mine for these, he’d been living in Ireland for a while now and just got back, I hadn’t seen him in a while but had been tracking down his work on instagram, so when he wrote to me wanting to shoot something I jumped at the opportunity.
Como te contaba al principio del post, trabajé con un amigo mío que es fotógrafo para éste post, había estado viviendo en Irlanda y tiene poco que volvió, tenía bastante sin verlo, pero había estado siguiendo su trabajo en instagram, así que cuando me escribió para que hicieramos algo juntos salté ante la oportunidad.
We shot these about three weeks ago, and I was really excited to see the outcome, I was surprised at how comfortable he made me feel the entire time and how concerned he was about my vision for these. He sent them last week to me, and I immediately loved them, it’s not what I’m used to aesthetically, but I was in love with the outcome, and felt really glad of having taken this chance.
Tomamos éstas fotos hace como tres semanas, estaba super emocionada de ver los resultados y me sorprendió lo cómoda que me hizo sentir todo el tiempo y lo interesado que estaba en mi visión para éstas. Me las envió la semana pasada e inmediatamente las amé, no es a lo que estoy acostumbrada estéticamente, pero me enamoré del resultado y me sentí muy contenta de haber tomado la oportunidad.
Like I was telling Alejandro (you can see his work here) it just makes me glad when I see my friends are doing well, when I realize they’re doing what they love and they’re awesome at it, and you can see this when you work with him, it was a great experience and I’m thankful for being able to work with awesome people.
Como le dije a Alejandro (puedes ver su trabajo aquí) me hace muy feliz ver que a mis amigos les va bien y cuando me doy cuenta de que están haciendo algo que aman y que son los mejores en ello, y ésto se nota cuando trabajas con él, fue una experiencia genial y me siento muy agradecida de poder trabajar con gente tan increíble.

FISHNETS AND RIPPED JEANS
They say you should never say “I’ll never…” because then you just might end up doing it, and I think that’s especially true with fashion related matters, just a few weeks ago a blogger friend of mine shared a post about fishnets and how to wear them, and I said “I don’t think I’ll ever wear those, it’s just not my style” and oh oh, here I am.
Dicen que nunca hay que decir nunca, porque quizá acabes haciéndolo, y creo que eso es especialmente cierto con cosas de moda, hace una semanas una amiga blogger publicó una entrada sobre las medias de red y cómo usarlas, y dije “yo creo que nunca las usaría, no son mi estilo” y oh oh, aquí estoy.
This time I partnered with Zaful, they sent me the knit top and ripped jeans, I suggest for those to go a size up if you want them to have the boyfriend fit, cause they tend to go on the smaller side, anyway, I ordered these and I swear this time they shipped so fast, I got them about a week and a half later I was surprised. Unfortunately, both items are now sold out, but I’ve linked to other items you guys might like.
En ésta ocación estoy colaborando con Zaful, me enviaron el top y los jeans, para los jeans te sugiero que elijas una talla más grande de lo usual si quieres ese fit de boyfriend jeans, porque vienen más reducidas sus tallas, éstos los pedí y me los enviaron de lo más rápido, yo creo que en semana y media ya los tenía en casa, lo cual me sorprendió. This time I teamed up with SAMMYDRESS to bring you this outfit, so let me tell you a little bit about it.
En ésta ocasion me uní con SAMMYDRESS para compartirte éste outfit, así que déjame te cuento un poco sobre él.
THE SKIRT
Metallic pleated skirts are HUGE this season, so I ordered this one in silver, it’s a blue-ish silver shade, and the pleats are perfect, it is actually pretty warm, I wore this for lunch with friends on Sunday, we went to Mercado San Ignacio, which is a food market with the seating area outside on a terrace, and even though it was a bit windy, this kept me warm enough.
Las faldas metálicas plisadas son super populares ésta temporada, así que pedí ésta en plata, es un tono azulado y los pliegues son perfectos, es más calentita de lo que parece, la usé el domingo que salí a comer con mis amigos, fuimos al Mercado San Ignacio, un mercado con las mesas en una terraza, y aunque había bastante viento, me mantuvo calentita.
THE BAG
I’ve always been a fan of oversized bags, it’s my inner Mary Poppins shinning through, I want to carry everything with me just in case, small bags have been a trend for the past couple of seasons, and so is light pink, so I said, why the hell not? And decided to give them a shot with this little pink cutie, to be honest, I wouldn’t use it on a weekday, I might use it for drink out with the girls, or a weekend errand, but not for a whole day, it’s big enough that I was able to carry my phone (barely), a pack of tissues (cause the flu, you know), my keys, ID, some cash, my credit card and some lipstick, but that’s as far as it goes, however it is very pretty indeed, quality is outstanding.
Siempre he sido fan de los bolsos enormes, es mi Mary Poppins interna saliendo a relucir, quiero llevar todo conmigo por si se ofrece, los bolsos pequeños han sido tendencia desde hace un par de temporadas, al igual que éste tono de rosa, así que pensé, ¿por qué demonios no? y decidí intentarlo con ésta belleza rosita, para ser honesta, no la usaría para el diario, quizá para una salida con las chicas, o algún pendiente de fin de semana, pero no un día completo fuera de casa, es lo suficientemente grande para llevar mi teléfono (apenas), un paquete de pañuelos desechables (porque sigo enferma), mis llaves, ID, algo de efectivo, mi tarjeta del banco y un lipstick, pero hasta ahí llega, de cualquier modo es indudablemente bonita, la calidad es bastante buena.
So this is how you style a statement piece like this, with a band t-shirt you borrowed from your brother or the guy of your choice, a vegan leather jacket, some sneakers and a cute little bag, let the statement piece work its magic.
Es así como combinas una pieza como ésta, con una playera de una banda que tomaste prestada de tu hermano o el hombre de tu elección, una chaqueta de cuero vegano, tenis y un pequeño bolso, dejas que la prenda haga su magia.
THE SNEAKERS
These had to match my bag, that’s what I was envisioning when I placed my order on SAMMYDRESS, they’re probably the coolest sneakers I’ve owned, I ordered a size 9, which is usually my shoe size, I was so excited when I got them, they’re really comfy, unfortunately, they’re about half a centimiter too small, they fit but they’re not roomy enough to be comfy, let alone wear some socks with them, so I’d probably would go a size up on these.
Tenían que combinar con mi bolso, en eso estaba pensando cuando ordené en SAMMYDRESS, probablemente son los tenis más cool que he tenido, los pedí en talla 9 (5 en México), que usualmente es mi talla, estaba muy emocionada cuando los recibí, estan súper cómodos, desafortunadamente son como medio centímetro muy pequeños, es decir, me quedan, pero muy justos y eso es lo que les quita puntos de comodidad, no me es posible usarlos con calcetines, así que probablemente debí ordenar un número arriba.

Am I a Kardashian yet? I whisper to myself as I slip into this skin tight nude velvet dress and apply my matte Honeylove lipstick.
¿Ya soy una Kardashian? Murmuro para mí mientras me pongo este ajustado vestido en color nude y aplico mi labial mate en tono Honeylove.
Black is usually my favorite color, but today I went for an all neutral outfit, I got these on friday from my friends at ZAFUL, I was pretty excited, felt like early Christmas.
El negro es usualmente mi color favorito, pero hoy elegí un outfit en tonos neutros, me llegó un paquete el viernes de mis amigos de ZAFUL, estaba bastante emocionada, se sintió como Navidad adelantada.
THE CARDIGAN
I’ve been dying for a cardigan like this, long and cozy, so I ordered this one from ZAFUL, the knit has the perfect thickness, it’s really cozy and I kinda want to live in it for the rest of the season.
Muero por un cárdigan como éste desde hace tiempo, largo y abrigador, así que pedí éste de ZAFUL, el tejido es bastante grueso, y es abrigador y me dan ganas de vivir enfundada en él el resto de la temporada.
THE DRESS
I ordered this a size M, to my liking it was a bit too tight, but I’m not into that sort of fit, so if you’re considering buying it I’d go a size bigger, unless what you’re going for is skin tight fit.
Encargué éste vestido en talla M, pero la verdad es que las tallas vienen súper reducidas a mi parecer, no soy fan de esas siluetas, así que si piensas pedir uno, te recomendaría que elijas una talla más de lo normal, a menos que quieras que te quede muy ajustado.
THE SHADES
They’re as perfect as they can be, pink and mirrored, I’ve only worn them once so far and I’ve gotten a ton of compliments, even my grandma wanted to try them on (she did and they’re now SOLD OUT).
Son tan perfectos como los imaginé, rosas y de espejo, sólo los he usado una vez hasta ahora, y me han hecho un montón de cumplidos, hasta mi abuelita se los quería probar (y lo hizo y lo malo es que se han agotado en la tienda).

Hi guys! I’m back with a new OOTD post, even when fall’s start is just around the corner it’s still warm enough here in Mexico to keep on wearing some summer pieces so today it’s time for me to show you this outfit, if you remember, last month I hosted a ROSE WHOLESALE WISHLIST, well, about a week or so after that post the people at ROSE WHOLESALE and SAMMY DRESS contacted me, wanting to work with me, I got to pick some of my favorites, but sadly most of the items on that wishlist were out of stock, the only thing I managed to snag were the slides, so today I want to share one of the outfits I’ll be styling for them, I wish I could share with you all of them at once, but saddly, I’m still waiting for two more packages to clear customs, I hope by the end of this week I’ll be able to share them with you, so stay tuned.

Hoy estoy de vuelta con un nuevo outfit, a pesar de que el otoño está a la vuelta de la esquina, aún hace bastante calor aquí en Aguascalientes para seguir usando prendas veraniegas, así que hoy quiero compartirte éste outfit, si recuerdas el mes pasado les compartí un wishlist de ROSE WHOLESALE, pues como una semana después de ésto me contactaron de ROSE WHOLESALE y SAMMY DRESS, con muchas ganas de colaborar conmigo, pude elegir algunas prendas de ambas marcas, por desgracia muchas de las prendas que estaban en ese wishlist ya estaban agotadas y sólo pude elegir las sandalias, así que hoy te comparto el look que armé, estaba esperando poder mostrarte todos mis regalos en un solo post, pero desafortunadamente aún hay dos paquetes retenidos en la aduana, espero para fines de ésta semana tenerlos en mis manos para poder compartirte el resto de mis looks, así que estáte pendiente.
This was my first time getting something from either one of this stores, and I liked that you can make a “favorites” list, I just spent a while “window shopping” and had a blast, another thing I liked was that they sent me pictures of my package as it was being transported and that on both sites you can easily track your package through Neatherlands Post Service.
Ésta fue la primera ocasión en la que ordené algo de ambas tiendas, me gusta que puedes marcar tus productos favoritos, yo me la pasé súper entretenida viendo sus miles de productos y eligiendo todo lo que me gustaba, otra cosa que me gustó muchísimo es que te van enviando fotos de tus paquetes y puedes rastreárlos súper fácil por el Servicio Postal Holandés.
On this ocassion I was pleased that the sizing was accurate, maybe only my dress was a tad too short for my taste, but I’m a tall girl, I think anyone else would find it really accurate, but I still loved it, the bag, well, I’m so in love, I think it’s become one of my favorites! And the sandals I liked them so much since I was making that wishlist post, I think they fit my style perfectly, thoug they’re not as comfy as I thought they’d be, maybe I need to break them in a bit, I’ll keep you posted.
Me gustó ver que su tallaje es justo como lo describen en el sitio, el vestido quizá está muy corto, pero soy alta, entonces creo que a otras chicas les quedaría perfecto, aún así me gustó mucho, la bolsa la adoré desde que la vi y ya que llegó fue más linda de lo que imaginé, creo que se volverá de mis favoritas. Las sandalias las amé tanto que por eso estaban en mi wishlist, se adhieren perfecto a mi estilo, pero no son tan cómodas como pensé que serían, quizá es cuestión de usarlas un poco más.
