FASHION MONTH: STREET STYLE FAVORITES
I remember when I realized that Fashion Week was a whole thing, I was starting Fashion School, I was 18 and to me it was a whole new world, that was 11 years ago, fashion blogs were starting to be a thing with Chiara Ferragni and Andy Torres, street style like we know it today was beginning, I remember following Garance Doré‘s, Scott Schuman‘s and Tommy Ton‘s blogs and pictures on VOGUE religiously, and I remember falling in love with it, ever since then, Street Style from Fashion Month has been favorite part about it, and one of my biggest sources of inspiration, today I want to share with you some of my favorite looks from this season’s Fashion Month.

Recuerdo cuando me di cuenta de que el Fashion Week era una cosa, recién había iniciado la carrera de Diseño de Moda, tenía 18 y era un mundo completamente nuevo, eso fue hace 11 años, los blogs de moda comenzaban a ser algo con Chiara Ferragni y Andy Torres, el street style como lo conocemos hoy apenas empezaba, recuerdo seguir religiosamente los blogs y fotos en VOGUE de Garance Doré, Scott Schuman y Tommy Ton, y recuerdo que ahí me enamoré de él, desde entonces, el estilo callejero del mes de la moda ha sido mi parte favorita de este, y una de mis más grandes fuentes de inspiración, hoy quiero compartirles algunos de mis looks favoritos del mes de la moda de esta temporada.
NYFW: DAY 3
This is probably my favorite look from NYFW, I’m really in love with this knit set and I’m so glad I got it, cause it’s just amazing, I wore it with my dad sneakers and my belt bag and it was the comfiest outfit, plus I got a ton of compliments on it.

Este es probablemente mi look favorito de fashion week, en verdad amé este set tejido y estoy tan contenta de haberlos comprado, porque es genial, lo usé con mis dad sneakers y mi cangurera y fue el look más cómodo, además miles de cumplidos que me hicieron con él.

NYFW DAY 2
This season we were encountered by a lot of rain during NYFW, which really messed up some of my outfits, this was originally meant to be worn without the sweatshirt, and just with a sports bra as on my picture from instagram below, but you know how it goes with the weather this time of the year. Anyway, this is what I wore for the Ruby Fang and Nonie shows on my second day this season.

Esta temporada tuvimos mucha lluvia durante Fashion Week Nueva York, lo cual en verdad arruinó varios de mis outfits, este estaba planeado para ser usado sin la sudadera y sólo con el sports bra como en la foto de abajo, pero bueno, así pasa a veces con el clima en esta época del año. Este fue mi look para el segundo día para los shows de Ruby Fang y Nonie de esta temporada.

When I saw these trousers on Rosegal‘s site I fell in love with them, I really liked that they had that cutout detail on the bottom and waist and to be honest once I had them in my hands, they felt a bit daunting, but I decided to wear them anyway and I loooved them, they certainly caught a lot of gazes when we were shooting these, but I felt great in them, which only proves that sometimes we need to take risks with out fashion choices and step out of our comfort zones, we might be gladly surprised!
Cuando vi éstos pantalones en el sitio de Rosegal, me enamoré de ellos, me encantó que tuvieran ese detalle tipo deshilado en la parte de abajo y en la cintura, pero la verdad es que ya que los tuve en mis manos me dieron miedito, igual decidí usarlos, y ya teniéndolos puestos me encantaron, sin duda alguna atrajeron muchas miradas mientras estábamos tomando las fotos, pero yo me sentía encantada con ellos, lo cual sólo prueba que a veces hay que arriesgarnos un poco más en nuestras decisiones en moda y salir de nuestra zona de confort, pues nos puede traer muchas sorpresas.

Hello there! I hope you all have a great week! Are you all ready to see the eclypse? I know I am! Okay, so let me tell you, I got this Yankees Cap about 5 years ago on my second trip to NYC, and to be honest I have barely used it ever since, perhaps about 3 or 4 times at most, and I cannot tell you enough how much of a mistake that’s been, I loved wearing it over the weekend, and I think I have a couple more outfits in mind with it, but we’ll see, one of the beauties of any type of hat, is that they have the super power to hide a bad hair day lol. What’s your favorite type of hat? Any tips for bad hair days?
¡Hola! Espero tengan una excelente semana, ¿ya están listos para ver el eclipse? Yo ya mega emocionada con eso y super lista, hasta conseguí uno de esos vidrios especiales, si lo van a ver porfa háganlo con muuuucho cuidado, no quiero que se me vayan a lastimar los ojos. Oigan déjenme les cuento que compré ésta gorra de los Yankees hace como cinco años en mi segundo viaje a NY, y la verdad es que casi no la he usado, quizá tres o cuatro veces como mucho y la verdad es que ha sido un gran error, me encantó usarla el finde, quizá la pueda usar un poco más antes de que acabe el calor, una de las bellezas de cualquier tipo de sombrero o gorro es su super poder de esconder un bad hair day. ¿Cuál es tu tipo favorito de sombrero? ¿tienes algún tip para los bad hair days?
