2 years ago today I posted what would be my first post on this blog and the beggining of a journey, when I started this blog I wasn’t quite sure about it, I wasn’t sure where my life was going or what I wanted to do about it, all I knew is I needed a way of spending my time that was healthy and kept my mind off things I didn’t want to think about.
Hoy hace dos años publiqué lo que sería mi primera entrada en éste blog y el comienzo de una aventura, cuando comencé éste blog no estaba muy segura de hacerlo, no estaba segura de a dónde iba mi vida o qué quería hacer con ella, lo único que sabía era que necesitaba una manera de pasar mi tiempo que fuera saludable y mantuviera mi mente lejos de cosas en las que no quería pensar.
Now 2 years later I’m a bit more sure of where I’m going and what I want (and I say a little cause who knows for sure?), but I still use this as a way to keep my mind off things and distract myself, but it has become, and more each time, a second job, cause hey, I want to grow this into a business at some point and make it my main focus.
Ahora, dos años después estoy un poco más segura de a dónde voy y lo que quiero (y digo un poco porque ¿quién lo sabe en realidad?), aún lo uso para mantener mi mente lejos de cosas y distraerme, pero se ha vuelto, más y más cada vez un segundo trabajo, porqué la verdad es que quiero convertirlo en un negocio y que en algún momento sea lo que ocupe toda mi atención.
I want to keep growing this thing that’s a big part of my and share it with as many people as I’m able to, how? well, I’ve still got a ton of ideas, but I’m sure I’ll be able to settle on a couple during this year and start working on them.
Quiero seguir creciendo ésto que es una gran parte de mí y compartirlo con toda la gente que pueda, ¿cómo? la verdad es que tengo un montón de ideas, pero estoy segura de que éste año podré elegir algunas y comenzar a trabajar en ellas.
These two years have helped me grow into myself, not only aesthetically and style-wise but also as the kind of woman I want to be, they have changed me, I’ve become more organized and commited with a project and a goal, and I’ve also been able to learn so much not only from myself but from many people all over the world.
Éstos dos años me han ayudado a crecer, no sólo estéticamente y en relación al estilo, sino también en la mujer que quiero ser, me han cambiado, me he vuelto más organizada y comprometida con mis metas y proyectos, y también he podido aprender tanto, no sólo de mí, sino de muchísima gente alrededor del mundo.
I’ve been able to connect with people who share my passion, my hopes, my dreams, who share similar views on life, people who are total opposites from myself, culturally, phisically, mentally, and I’ve been able to learn from them so so much.
He podido conectar con gente que comparte mi pasión, mis esperanzas y sueños, personas con opiniones similares sobre la vida, gente que es totalmente opuesta a mí, cultural, fisica y mentalmente, he podido aprender tanto de ellos.
And I think that’s one of the things I cherrish the most about being a blogger, connecting with people, being able to write something, and then read all of your comments, I truly appreciate reading from each one of those who take the time to read and leave some feedback, to start the conversation, you’ve no idea how many of you have gotten a smile out of me on a day where I truly needed it, and for that I’m forever thankful to each and every one of you.
Y creo que es eso lo que más disfruto de ser blogger, conectar con la gente, poder escribir algo y luego leer todos los comentarios, en verdad aprecio leer de cada uno de ustedes quienes se toman el tiempo de leer y dejarme un mensajito, de empezar la conversación, no tienen idea de cuantos me han hecho sonreír en un día que lo necesitaba, y por eso les estaré eternamente agradecida.
That’s what I take from these two years, all the love, all the smiles, all the knowledge, I know some of you’ve been following me since day one, THANK YOU! I know some of you are new, I hope you stay; To all of you, thank you so so much, you’ve made my life so much more special, you all have a special place in my heart and I’m thankful for all the good vibes and the fortune I’ve of having been able to connect with you enough that you decided to stick with me and keep reading me.
Eso es lo que me llevo de éstos dos años, todo el cariño, las sonrisas, el aprendizaje, sé que algunos me han seguido desde el día uno, ¡GRACIAS! Sé que algunos son nuevos, espero decidan quedarse; a todos, muchas muchas gracias, me han hecho la vida más especial, todos tienen un lugarcito en mi corazón y estoy muy agradecida por todas las buenas vibras y la fortuna de haber podido conectar lo suficiente con ustedes para que decidieran quedarse y seguir leyéndome.
