A while ago I shared a post about ONLINE SHOPPING: TIPS & TRICKS and it turns out it was a quite popular post, so much actually that I’ve gotten a few request to make a follow up post, and looking back at my original post there are some things I think I missed sharing with you guys, so without any further ado please read ahead for more tips on how to shop online.

Hace tiempo les compartí un post de TIPS Y TRUCOS PARA COMPRAS EN LÍNEA y resulta que fue muy popular, tanto, que he tenido varias peticiones de hacer un post secundario con más tips y revisando mi post original me di cuenta de que hay algunas cosas que se me pasaron compartir, así que sin más preámbulo sigue leyendo para ver más tips de cómo comprar en línea.

LOOK FOR DISCOUNT CODES

If you pay close attention to the sites you’re shopping at you’ll realize that a lot of the time they’ve discount codes right there in front of your eyes, so keep your eyes open and look for them on the top of the pages, most likely you’ll get some percentage off, free shipping or some other deal.

BUSCA CÓDIGOS DE DESCUENTO

Si prestas atención a las páginas en las que estás comprando te darás cuenta de que muchas veces tienen códigos de descuento justo frente a tus ojos, así que mantenlos abiertos y búsca los códigos en la parte superior de las páginas, seguramente encontrarás un porcentaje rebajado, envío gratis o alguna otra promoción.

SUBSCRIBE TO NEWSLETTERS

Speaking of discount codes, most stores will offer you between a 10 and 30% off your first purchase if you sign up for their newsletter, now I know newsletters can be a pain in the neck, but, remember you can always unsubscribe after getting the discount code, if you do end up subscribing keep in mind stores might share with you coupon codes or alerts for special sales to thank you for signing up for their news latter and keeping loyal to them.

SUSCRÍBETE A LAS LISTAS DE EMAIL

Hablando de códigos de descuento, la mayoría de las tiendas te ofrecerán entre un 10 y 30% menos en tu primera compra si te inscribes a su newsletter, ya sé que esas cadenas de correos son lo más latoso del mundo, pero recuerda que siempre está la opción de cancelar tu suscripción después de haber recibido el código de descuento, si decides suscribirte, recuerda que muchas veces las marcas premian tu lealtad con avisos de ofertas especiales y más códigos de descuento periódicamente.

LEAVE YOUR SHOPPING CART

This is a trick I recently learned from a friend at work, if you’re not in a hurry to buy whatever you’ve in your cart, make sure to leave the store without checking out and not coming back in a couple of days, after a while many brands will send you a reminder email that includes a discount code for you to use and place your order, so it’s always worth the wait. Important: this only works if you’ve an account set up on the store.

ABANDONA TU CARRITO DE COMPRAS

Este es un truco que aprendí hace poco de una amiga en el trabajo, si lo que vas a comprar no urge, asegúrate de salir de la tienda sin completar la orden y esperar unos días, después de algunos días algunas marcas te enviarán un correo recordándote que dejaste cosas en tu carrito y junto con ello un código de descuento para que uses y completes tu orden, asi que vale la pena la espera. Ojo: esto sólo funciona si tienes una cuenta dada de alta en la página.

SIGN UP FOR PRICE DROP ALERTS

If you’re looking to buy plane tickets and you’re looking to get the best price and you’re not in a hurry, make sure to sign up for price drop alerts, that way you’ll get an email letting you know when the price goes lower for that flight you’ve set eyes on.

INSCRÍBETE A LAS ALERTAS DE PRECIO BAJO

Si lo que vas a comprar son boletos de avión y quieres obtener el mejor precio y no te urge comprarlos, asegúrate de inscribirte a las alertas de precio bajo, de este modo recibirás un correo cada vez que el precio baje para ese vuelo al que le echaste el ojo.

FOLLOW INFLUENCERS ON INSTAGRAM

Many influencers/bloggers who promote certain brands on Instagram will most likely have a discount code for their followers to use, so look for influencers promoting the brand you want to purchase something from and take advantage of their promo codes.

SIGUE INFLUENCERS EN INSTAGRAM

Muchos influencers o bloggers que promueven marcas en Instagram, probablemente tendrán códigos de descuento para que sus seguidores los usen, así que busca quién promueve la marca que quieres comprar y aprovecha sus promo codes.
