CALIFORNIA TRAVEL DIARY

Hi guys! Sorry for the week long absence, but if you remember I told you about an upcoming trip I had, well if you saw my Instastories and Instagram you know I spent the past week in California. It was my first time on the West Coast of the US, and I am really happy I finally got to see some of what Cali has to offer.

¡Hola! Perdón por la ausencia de una semana, pero si recuerdan les conté que tenía un viaje próximo, si vieron mis historias de Instagram saben que pasé la última semana en California. Fue mi primer viaje a la Costa Oeste de EUA, y estoy encantada de haber visto un poco de lo mucho que ofrece California.

It was an amazing experience I got to live, I lived in the East Coast for a year a while ago, and I’m telling you, California is a whole other thing, one thing I do wish is I had more time to see more of this beautiful place, however in the time I spent there I got to see some pretty cool things.

We stayed in Anaheim in the Grove District, pretty close to the Disney parks, we went shopping to the Outlets at Orange, highly recommend you stop by, we got to see the Angels’ Stadium, I had some really nice food, and I felt so surprised to see all the things people in CA want to add avocado to.

Fue una experiencia asombrosa la que viví, yo viví en la costa este un tiempo, y les juro que California es otra cosa, la verdad me faltó tiempo para ver más de éste asombroso lugar, pero en el poco tiempo que tuve vi muchas cosas cool.

Nos quedamos en Anaheim, bastante cerca de los parques de Disney, fuimos de compras a los Outlets at Orange, se los recomiendo mucho, y vimos el estadio de los Angels, comí cosas muy ricas y la verdad es que me sorprendió la cantidad de alimentos a los que la gente les quiere agregar aguacate.

I also got to see the Mojave Desert on our way to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden which is beautiful, we drove past all those wind turbines and it was pretty impressive tbh, I also drove past the Cabazon Dinosaurs on my way back, I fell in love with the desert.

Pude ver el Desierto de Mojave de camino a Indian Wells, y es hermoso, manejamos a través de varios kilometros llenos de aerogeneradores y fue bastante impresionante, también pude ver los Cabazon Dinosaurs, la verdad me enamoré del desierto.

We also visited Los Angeles, and I can kind of see why so many people dream of living there, it’s an amazing and beautiful city, but you definitely need to spend more than one day getting to see it, that same day we drove down to Santa Monica, it was a dream, we walked by the promenade and the pier as the sun was setting, I loved seeing the colors change and feeling the wind on my face and the smell of salt water.

También visitamos Los Ángeles, y puedo ver porqué tanta gente quiere vivir ahí, es una bella ciudad, pero sin duda toma más de un día para verla completa, ese mismo día manejamos a Santa Monica, fue de ensueño, caminamos por el muelle mientras el sol se ponía, me encantó ver cómo cambiaban los colores, sentir el viento en mi cara y el olor de agua de mar.
