TRAVEL GUIDE | RIVIERA NAYARIT

To put this post together I had to comb through all of my pictures of this trip and these were some of my favourites which I hadn’t shared with you before on previous posts.

Para armar este post tuve que revisar muchísimas fotos del viaje que no les había compartido antes aquí en el blog. Aquí están algunas favoritas.

Like I told you on another post, I love the beach and to be honest with you I’m in love with Riviera Nayarit, I find it a beautiful place on mexican coasts. What I like about it? There’s a ton of things to do and it’s got a ton of different beaches each depending on what are your plans.

Como les conté en posts anteriores, adoro ir a la playa y para ser honesta adoro la Riviera Nayarit, se me hace que es un lugar hermoso en costas mexicanas. ¿Qué me gusta de ésta área? Hay muchísimas cosas que hacer, y está conformada por muchas playas distintas, cada una para el plan en el que vayas.

To get there you might do it so by airplane, as the airport is only 30 minutes away, there’s also a bus station close by or you may arrive by car, which in my opinion might be a desirable option as you can plan a road trip and stop by in some of the seaside towns like Sayulita.

In Bucerías you can find the artwalk where you can visit independent art galleries, little cafés and restuarants, and some local design stores, plus it’s a beautiful street, you can also explore the town that sells artisanal products, and book a sight seeing tour with one of the many companies you’ll find.

¿Cómo llegar? Puedes volar directo porque hay un aeropuerto a media hora de ahí, hay una estación de autobuses en Nuevo Vallarta o puedes manejar, que es una buena opción porque así puedes armar un roadtrip y parar en algunos de los pueblos que hay en el camino como Sayulita, famosa por sus aguas para surfear.

En Bucerías puedes encontrar el artwalk  donde hay bastantes galerías independientes, cafecitos, restaurantes, bares, algunas tiendas de diseño y artesanía local, y además es una bella calle por la cual tomar un paseo, también puedes explorar el pueblito donde venden mucha artesanía o reservar un tour de ecoturismo en alguna de las compañías que se encuentran en esta calle.

Some hotels provide shuttles to Puerto Vallarta, where you can find the pier, which is really beautiful, there’s many restaurants where you can have a nice lunch looking at the sea, souvenir stores of course, and if your idea is to party there’s many night clubs where you can have a great time.

The thing is to really plan your trip so you can make the most of this area, I really recommend making time for a visit to Marietas Islands which is just astounding. Whatever you chose to do while in Riviera Nayarit I can assure you you won’t regret it, it’s a great beach getaway.

Algunos hoteles proveen transporte a Puerto Vallarta donde está el malecón que es un hermoso lugar para caminar, hay restaurantes para comer viendo el mar, tiendas de souvenirs que no pueden faltar, y si tu idea es ir de fiesta hay bastantes lugares para hacerlo por las noches.

La cosa es planear bien tu viaje para aprovechar el área, en verdad recomiendo tomar el tour a las Islas Marietas que es un lugar mágico. Lo que sea que decidas hacer, te prometo que no te vas a arrepentir, es un lindo escape de la rutina.
