ROSE GOLD HAIR AND FISHNETS

Hi guys! I feel like there’s a lot I want to talk to you about this week, so first the obvious part, new hair color! do you like it? I was actually aiming for pastel pink, but I got this rose gold shade that I’m in looove with, so please share your thoughts on it.

¡Hola! Siento que hay un montón de cosas que les quiero platicar ésta semana, así que quitemos la parte más obvia del camino, ¡tengo nuevo color de cabello! ¿te gusta? la verdad es que tenía en mente un rosa pastel, pero acabé con éste tono oro rosa del que estoy enamorada, dime qué opinas.

Second thing, fishnets are huge this season, and by the looks of fashion month, they’ll be next fall as well, I wanted to have a chance to wear mine again, and this is the look I came up with, it ended up being quite 90’s grunge, don’t you think? But I think I actually pull it off quite nicely, never thought I could.

En segundo lugar, las medias de red, o fishnets, están súper en tendencia, y parece ser según el pasado mes de la moda, que el siguiente otoño también lo estarán, tenía ganas de usar las mías nuevamente, y éste fue el look que se me ocurrió, como que me salió bastante noventero y grunge, ¿no? pero me gustó cómo me quedó, no creí que me fuera ese look.

Last but not least, I want to tell you the story behind these pictures, so, for this outfit I had no one to help me shoot, so I borrowed my brother’s tripod and remote, got in my car and drove to my go to location, set everything up and just gave it a shot (pun intended) it was actually easier than I thought it’d be you know?

Por último, quiero contarte la historia detrás de éstas fotos, para éste outfit no tenía quién me ayudara con las fotos, así que tomé el tripié y control remoto de mi hermano, me subí a mi coche y manejé a mi locación básica, acomodé todo y lo intenté, la verdad es que pensé que sería más complicado.

On one side it was harder to get detail shots of the look, and I only had a couple of seconds to get into position after pressing the remote, but on the other hand, I felt free to goof off and have a good time and I really liked the results, I mean, it won’t be my first choice, but if needed, I’d do it again, so there you have a way of taking OOTD pictures by yourself, there’s no excuse! What do you think?

Por un lado fue más dificil tener fotos de detalles, y sólo tenía un par de segundos para acomodarme ya que presionaba el control, pero por otro lado, me sentí libre de mensear tanto como quise, me divertí yo solita y me gustaron los resultados, no creo que sería mi primera opción, pero si volviera a surgir la necesidad lo haría de éste modo nuevamente, ahí tienes una manera de tomar tus fotos sin ayuda, así que ya no hay excusas, ¿qué opinas?
