Beige is the color of the season, especially when worn on total looks, so look for it in everything, even shoes, hats and bags! This is a neutral/basic color that you’ll find everywhere this season, Zara, H&M and Stradivarius are carrying it like crazy!

El beige es el color de la temporada, en especial si lo usas en looks de pies a cabeza, así que búscalo en todas las prendas, ¡hasta zapatos, sombreros y accesorios! Es un color neutro y básico que encontrarás en todos lados esta temporada, Zara, H&M y Stradivarius lo tienen por montones.

Surf culture was a big inspiration during fashion month for this season, so look for surf inspired pieces/outfits that remind you of the beach, wetsuits are a major inspo for those pieces so keep an eye out, the easiest ways to wear this look? Tie dye and bucket hats, I found this trend mostly at Zara, but I’m sure you can find it at other retailers if you look for it.

The girliest of trends for this season, lace can be found on everything from suits (see this one from Zara), to tops and dresses, wear it as a total look or in small details such as trimings for slip tops, you’ll find lots of lace in most retailers but my favorite looks were from Zara and H&M.

La tendencia más femenina de esta temporada, el encaje lo puedes encontrar en todo desde trajes (ve este de Zara), hasta tops y vestidos, úsalo en looks completos o en pequeños detalles como el escote de un top lencero, encontrarás montones de encaje en la mayoría de las tiendas, pero mis looks favoritos fueron los de Zara y H&M.

Do you remember those “ugly” macrame bags your aunt used to knit? Well, they’re all the rage now, this season isn’t as much as the last one about the straw bags but the craft knit ones, think crochet and macrame, you’ll also find boho inspired pieces that look straight out of a ’70s movie, stores like Zara, Stradivarius and Forever 21 are loaded with this kind of bags, so make sure you snatch one before they run out.

Regular hems are a thing of the past this season, pieces with fringe and feather trimings are what’s in this season, wild west looking jackets are the best way to wear this trend, or you might want to try the bolder side of the trend and go for a fringe dress, either way, Zara is the biggest fan of the trend!

This season calls for covering our heads from the sun’s aggressive rays, after all, no one wants to risk skin cancer, luckily this year you’ll find tons of cool ways to cover, from straw hats, bucket hats and sailor hats to scarves and turbans, you’ll find amazing pieces in pretty much all stores to beat the heat in style!

Power suits are a must in any girls closet these days, but say goodbye to black, gray and navy, this season the brighter the color the better, dare to step out in a blood red suit, what’s more powerful than that? Zara is the king of colored suits this season (and pretty much any other trend).

Actualmente los power suits son básicos en el clóset de cualquier chica, pero dile adiós al negro, gris y azul marino, esta temporada mientras más brillantes mejor, atrévete a salir en un traje rojo sangre, ¿qué es más poderoso que eso? Zara es el rey de los trajes brillantes esta temporada (y todas las tendencias básicamente).

Biker shorts are a key piece this season, last season we saw them but only in basic black, this season you’ll find them in all colors and prints and textures, we’ve even have a denim version now, so if you’re daring enough get yourself a pair, the best stores to find them are Bershka and Forever 21, especially the latter, when I say they have a lot I mean A LOT.

Los shorts de ciclismo son una pieza clave esta temporada, la temporada pasada los vimos pero sólo en el negro básico, esta temporada puedes encontrarlos en todos lo colores, estampados y texturas, hemos hasta encontrado unos en versión mezclilla, así que si eres lo suficientemente atrevida consíguete un par, las mejores tiendas para encontrarlos serán Bershka y Forever 21, que cuando digo tiene un montón son UN MONTÓN.

Uniforms have never looked/been so cool as they are this season, think of the jumpsuits worn by air force pilots, janitors, mechanics and ghost busters but make them fashion! That will be one of the key pieces to wear this season, so make sure you stop by H&M and snag one of those utilitarian looking jumpsuits.
